Errant Sound - Project Space for Sound Art
Since 2010 Errant Sound has been dedicated to experimental work in sound, including other media, and in different practices, like installation, performance, radio art and art in public space. Through workshops, events and exhibitions, the project space emphasizes an engagement with process and dialogue, encouraging a dynamic and diverse approach to the sound arts.
Errant Sound also intends to foster social and political activities, contributing to the creative scene in Berlin and its artistic communities. Since 2013 the space is managed and developed through a working group comprised of artists focusing on sonic research and sound practices, developing an experimental program of lectures, event series and exhibitions. In 2016 Errant Sound was awarded with the Projektraumpreis Berlin / Project Space Award Berlin.
