Month of Contemporary Music: 1st - 30th of September 2019

For the third year in a row, the Month of Contemporary Music celebrates the unprecedented diversity of Berlin’s contemporary music scene in September 2019. The Berlin experimental music scene is internationally renowned for its vibrancy and openness. This year, the focus is on the Sound Art scene; as a hybrid art form, sound art faces particular challenges regarding funding, production and performance opportunities.

We invite ensembles, artists, organisers and venues to participate in the programme, which runs from 1st to 30th September 2019. Please let us know as soon as possible, and no later than 30th April 2019, if you are planning events in September. This will help us to get an overview of all upcoming events and start on the publicity work in good time. Send an e-mail with all relevant event info to marketing [​at​] inm-berlin.de.
